Google needs to get hit with a Shillelagh
So St. Patrick’s Day came and went for 2011 and Google.com neglected to recognize the day. Usually they post one of their “updated for the day logos” on their home page, but not today. Sure they posted one on their Ireland website (google.ie); But what about here in the US? Read more »
Are we giving our children too much freedom?
How do we know when enough is enough, or too much when it comes to our children? Being a single Dad of two children one 11 and one 14 it is hard for me to find the balance of giving them their freedom but also keeping tabs on them as well. Both of my children now have cell phones. This is a necessity because of various activities they have along with my crazy schedule, I need to be able to get in touch with them. What’s next for the new year?
Of course the new year approaching always brings out posts like this; What to do for the new year? What resolutions to make? Learning to say NO!
Just say NO! This is going to be my new mantra in life. I am always willing to say yes to most anything just to keep people happy. Well the time has come to say NO!
